An Evening Scene

The morning scene is always bright and sunny. On the other hand, the evening scene is dark and dusky. The shadows of the evenings fall upon everything. The valleys and mountains become suddenly so gloomy. The sky loses its bright colour. In the country, the farmers return home with his ox and -plough.

The river-side looks dull and colourless. The forest looks dark and dreadful. The evening seems so full of danger and menace for man. In towns, people repair to the cinema-houses to enjoy new films.
They flock to hotels and restaurants and gossip with their friends. The atmosphere is dusky'.

The daily vehicular traffic becomes thin. People move about on food drinking Coca Cola, orange squash mornings are cold while evenings are warm and smug. The spirit of the morning is gone. But you find a general desire for recreation . The morning prepares you for activity. The evening prepares you for rest and sleep.
