Atom for Peace

Atom For Peace

Atom is the smallest part of the matter. First, it was considered indivisible. Now it is an excellent source of energy and power. This energy and power can be used for the good or for the harm of mankind. During the Second World, War U.S.A. scare Japan and brought Japan to her knees with the help of the Atom-Bomb.

Atomic Power Countries

Today Italy, England, France, Russia, America, China, Pakistan, and India are going ahead in the world with their nuclear experiments. The use of atomic energy for medical purposes is also very popular in curing diseases. Madame curie discovered Radium in April 1902 which could be used in the destruction of abnormal tissues, tumors, and cancer.

Atom in industry

In the field of industry, too, the atom plays an important role. Atomic energy will take the place of petrol and coal so fast. Electricity can be produced by atomic energy. Einstein proved that matter could be converted into energy in his famous equation. Enrico  Fermi invented the atomic pile on 02 December1942 and put the theory into practice.

Useful aspects

The atomic pile, the atom smasher, the cyclotron, the atomic bomb trigger, and the reactor are the machines that produce energy using uranium. Surgery has been made easy. The isotopes of sodium, potassium,  iodine, etc will go a long way in tracing the origin and cause of many diseases.

Atom in agriculture Field

In the field of agriculture , atomic energy can help to a  great extent. The hills can be leveled and land can be used for cultivation. Experiments in Russia and Italy have shown good results. The food problems will be solved in the same way.

Atom in world transport

Atomic energy has helped the cause of world transport. All vehicles worked by coal or petrol can be worked by atomic energy. Trains , cars , trucks, ships airplanes, missiles, and rockets all can be worked by atomic energy. Atomic energy is going to play a great part in the world of tomorrow.
